For those of you who are wondering how you will pay for college, consider StaffordLoan.com as a resource. As always, search for scholarships first and talk with your financial aid office about your options. When you are ready to consider loans, the Stafford Loan, a Federal Guaranteed Student Loan Program, is generally the best bet. The rates are set by the Department of education and interest payments on the Subsidized Stafford loan are paid for by the government while you are in school. The downside of the Stafford Loan is that you can only borrow a limited amount depending on your grade level. If you need additional funding, consider private student loans.
